These basic rules apply to any social platform involving the guild whether it be a game, discord server, or misc. chatting service.
โ You must wear the designated attire at all times while in game. (Pendant, accessory, etc.) Depending on the game. (Subsection: Gameplay Attire)
โ Do not Player-Kill any guild member or ally.
- (Unless authorized otherwise, such as in events, self-defense or in some odd cases if they are not wearing the appropriate attire.)
โ Be respectful to all guild members or allies regardless of their rank.
โ Do not spam in any of that chats or forum pages of Nocturne Asylum.
- (No more than three messages posted continuously.)
โ If you are waiting for a rank, please message a staff member with the information needed to rank you appropriately. (Information differs from game to game.)
- ( If you have already told a staff member your level, you will not need to post it anywhere. However, if it takes longer than a day for you to be ranked then it is highly encouraged that you remind who you have notified / and or post it for another staff member to see.
โ You must follow any Staff member's instructions while in game. (Unless directed otherwise by a higher rank)
- ( If you believe a staff member is incorrect about something or if you believe that their instructions are unreasonable, please message Blank or another staff member and the situation will be dealt with accordingly.)
Misc. ๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐๐ฌ
These are still considered rules of the guild but are not as important as the main "Basic rules" of the guild. They must still be followed at all times.
The Misc. Rules include;
โ Do not recruit for any guild other than Nocturne Asylum
(Basically no advertising).
(Unless you're an allied guild leader.)
โ Lying to high ranks is never permitted, joking around with guild members is.
โ Bullying in any way is not permitted.
(This includes members that are not in our guild/name calling.)
โ Never scam anyone.
(If you are unsure what is considered scamming please contact a staff member and feel free to ask.)
โ Exploiting in most games is not allowed. (Please see subdivision [Exploiting in Games] )
โ It is not tolerated to randomly player kill a guild member or player. (Once again, depending on the game.) , (Subdivision: Playerkilling)
-Use common sense and generally you should be fine.
โ Don't ask for ranks.
(Please spare the high ranks the annoyance.)
โ Do not ask for items constantly.
- If someone declines your request after the first attempt, do not harass them into giving you the item.
โ Staff members must never be rude to lower ranks, nor randomly kill them for asking a question.
(More specific rules for staff found under the "Moderation" subject.)

(Vary from game to game.)
โ Guild events are a common occurrence within Nocturne Asylum, there are many different guild events and they will be hosted by the appropriate staff member.
Some guild events include;
~ Wars
~ Boss Raids
~ Drop Parties
~ PvP Tournaments
~ Gameday (consists of a variety of events.)
~And more.
Wars: These will hardly occur. The only time there will be a war is if there is an enemy guild that wishes to engage in combat. aka; Nocturne or the enemy guild declares war.
Boss Raids: Boss raids are when members gather as a group and attack a boss for either; experience points or for those who have not yet defeated the boss.
Drop Parties: "Ususally in MMORPGs, a party arranged by a player or players where items of significant worth are dropped for others to pick up. One of the coolest things that happens in online RPGs." (Urban dictionary; SteakShack)
PvP Tournaments: Members compete in PvP combat in order to win.
- Often times members are rewarded for winning PvP Tournaments depending on the circumstance.
(These do not make you eligible for a PvP'ing rank, although hosted in a similar format to the "Testing".)
Game Day: Details regarding game day are kept at a minimum because they tend to be unexpected, often consisting of multiple games. Usually, the event host chooses which event game they want to host with the guild members. An example of an event game would be Sharks and minnows.

High ranks are a very important aspect of the guild, and this cannot be stressed enough.
High ranks are what keeps this guild going. If you would like to become a high rank/staff member, there are applications that you may fill out, applications can be found under the subject "Moderators" on the forums. If you are interested in becoming an Optimum rank (a duelist rank) then please head over to the "Optimum Trial" subsection and see what you are required to do in order to earn the designated rank.
-If you are inactive as a high rank, you will be demoted and must work your way back up to the top. No questions asked.
More information about staff members/high ranks can be found under the "Moderator" subject category on the forums.
Thank you for reading ALL of these rules for the guild Nocturne Asylum. If you have a question; AFTER re-reading the rules, feel free to ask a guild member or a staff member that may know.
Note: Blank is aware that there are no subdivisions listed yet please be patient as these will be finished as soon as possible and updated onto this forum page! The reasoning for submitting these rules and regulations is to ensure that the information gets to you as fast as possible, regardless if certain sections are unfinished. Don't worry, they aren't that crucial to understanding the guild. Keep checking back to see when they are posted, I'm hoping to finish the subsections by 11/1/2017.
